Arborescence out now

My new novel, Arborescence, has arrived in Australia through Hachette. It’s about trees, people, people who think they are trees, trees that might be people, and robots that decide they are people. It’s about standing still as an act of defiance. It’s a love story. You can order it over here, buy it from your favourite local bookstore, or online at the usual places. I'm excited to say that it'll also be arriving in the UK in January 2026.

And some news: thanks to a grant from Creative Australia, I’ll be heading to the UK to do some events around publication. It’s been a long time since I was last in Foyle’s on Charing Cross Road, discovering books that made me rethink what literature could do, and realising I might be able to give this fiction writing business a crack if I got to work. Cannot wait to go back and say hello to some of the incredible booksellers and readers out there.
